The Channel 4 News team spotted a number plate that seemed to upset them a bit. They seemed unsure about those people who go for private number plates in the first place, but felt even worse about the person who used one to boast about their fuel economy.
They spotted this private plate on a Toyota Prius, right in the heart of London, right by Carnaby Street. As you can see from the plate the owner is proud to tell us that he or she is getting a very creditable 59mpg from his petrol electric, congestion charge-busting Prius.
